Privacy Policy

Privacy should be understandable too.

This page explains what SubjectVision currently collects, why it may be processed, and the choices available to visitors.

Last updated: August 16, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to SubjectVision and the public website at subjectvision.com. SubjectVision is a Slightbook product. The site currently provides public educational content and does not require a user account to read learning material.

2. Information we process

When you browse SubjectVision, infrastructure, security, and analytics providers may process standard technical information needed to deliver, protect, and understand use of the website. This can include IP address, request information, browser or device information, timestamps, security signals, page and navigation information, and similar operational data.

If you choose to contact us, we process the information you submit, such as your name, email address, subject, and message.

3. Contact form

The contact form is used to respond to support requests, corrections, feedback, business enquiries, and other messages you choose to send. Successful submissions are routed to SubjectVision's internal support mailbox. We also send an automated acknowledgement to the email address you provide so you know the message was received.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, passwords, payment card information, government identifiers, medical records, or other information that is not necessary for your request.

4. Cloudflare and security services

SubjectVision uses Cloudflare infrastructure to deliver and protect the website. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse and a Cloudflare-native rate limiter to restrict repeated contact attempts. Technical and security information may therefore be processed by Cloudflare when you access the site or use the form.

For the contact rate limit, SubjectVision derives a one-way SHA-256 digest from the normalized email address supplied in the form and uses that digest as the short-lived rate-limit key. The plaintext email address is not used as the rate-limit key. Turnstile and rate limiting are used for security and abuse prevention, not to build advertising profiles.

5. Google Analytics

SubjectVision uses Google Analytics through Google tag measurement ID G-57W7CZ3GJH to understand how visitors use the learning site. Analytics can help us understand information such as page views, navigation patterns, approximate traffic sources, browser or device characteristics, and aggregate engagement so we can improve lessons, navigation, and site performance.

Google Analytics may use cookies, browser storage, identifiers, and technical request information as part of providing analytics services, subject to browser settings, applicable controls, and Google's own service configuration. SubjectVision uses this analytics data to understand and improve the product; we do not operate our own advertising or behavioral-advertising program on the site.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

Security, delivery, anti-abuse, and analytics services may use browser storage, cookies, or similar mechanisms where required to provide their functions. Your browser may provide controls that allow you to restrict or clear cookies and similar storage, although doing so can affect some website or security functionality.

If SubjectVision later introduces personalization, accounts, advertising, or other features that materially change how information is processed, this policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Retention

Contact communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain support history, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet operational or legal requirements. Infrastructure, security, and analytics data may be retained according to the applicable service configuration and provider policies.

8. When information may be shared

We may use service providers that help operate, secure, deliver, measure, or support SubjectVision, including Cloudflare and Google Analytics. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, investigate abuse, or respond to valid legal requests. SubjectVision does not sell personal information to advertisers.

9. Your choices

You can use the public learning library without submitting the contact form. Browser privacy controls, cookie controls, content blockers, and applicable provider controls may affect analytics or similar browser technologies. If you have a privacy question or want to ask about information you previously submitted, use the SubjectVision contact form. We may need enough information to identify the relevant communication before acting on a request.

10. Children

SubjectVision includes educational material that may be useful to younger learners. The public site is designed so reading content does not require account registration. Children should avoid submitting personal information through the contact form without appropriate parent or guardian involvement.

11. Changes to this policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy as SubjectVision adds features or its operational practices change. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material revisions are published.

12. Contact us

Privacy questions can be sent through the SubjectVision contact form.

Plain-language intent: We want the privacy experience to be as clear as the learning experience. This page describes the current SubjectVision implementation and will evolve as the product grows.
